How to Reserve Quincy Courtyard
If you are a recognized student group that would like to reserve Quincy courtyard a written request must be sent to and approved by the House Administrator at least a week prior to your proposed event.
Please Note: We will not grant permission for an event the night before a standardized test (MCATs, LSATs, etc.) or any other night that we deem a disturbance to a significant number of House members. Quincy House restricts itself to one event in the courtyard per week and will give all House events priority.
The request should include:
- Purpose of event/ recognized student org requesting use of the space
- date/time requested,
- anticipated number of attendees
- food present?
- If so, who is responsible for cleanup
- Applicable COVID-19 procedures or any other applicable health policies currently guiding outdoor events.
- Inclement weather plan (please note Quincy House is unlikely to have an indoor space for inclement weather)
Please also note the following:
- No grilling of any kind will be permitted by a student group or any student. Food must be catered and/or brought in.
- You must clean up after the event and dispose of trash in the proper receptacles (Stone Hall trash bins near entryway A).
- No alcohol will be permitted.
- A reasonable volume of music is allowed prior to 9pm EDT, including weekends.
- If these polices are not followed the event will be shut down by the tutor on call.
