Premedical

Hello Quincy Premeds!

The Quincy House Premedical Committee provides Quincy students and alumni with advising and support for considering a career in medicine and applying to medical school. We look forward to meeting you.

The application cycle begins about a year a half before you plan to matriculate into medical school. For example, current students who are planning to attend medical school directly after graduating from college would begin the premed application process with Quincy House in February of their junior year.  If you are an alum planning to apply, please also contact us by January of the year before you plan to matriculate so that we can help you apply-- the timeline is analogous to that for current students.

Quincy students and Quincy alumni applicants are formally matched with advisors during the February before they submit their application. Quincy students still thinking about whether to apply, or not applying quite yet, are invited to contact any of the resident premed tutors to bounce ideas and discuss questions or concerns.

We hold regular Premed Tables over dinner in the dining hall. This is an excellent time to drop by with questions or just to chat. We announce premed tables over Quincy-open.
