Hi Penguins! I’m so excited to be joining the Quincy House community this year. I grew up near Annapolis, MD and first came to the Boston area to do my undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Molecular Biology at MIT. After graduating in 2019, I spent two years in the UK as a Marshall Scholar where I received a master’s in Machine Learning at UCL and a master’s in Genomic Medicine at Cambridge. I returned to Boston in 2021 to join the Harvard/MIT MD-PhD Program. I’m currently in my second year and am planning to do my PhD in Computer Science building biologically-inspired machine learning models.

When not in the clinic or doing research, I love running along the Charles River, hiking, and trying to incorporate Old Bay seasoning into a new recipe (any fellow Marylanders will understand!!). One of my go-to fun facts is that I used to dogsled in the winter and I still get way too excited for snow. I also love teaching, dance, writing, and music of all kinds. Recently, I’ve started getting into jazz via my partner Vaibhav, who is also joining as a resident tutor this year! Come find us on the New Quincy 3rd floor anytime – our door is always open. Happy to chat about anything at all: medicine, research, computer science, fellowships, nature, college, life – or just catch up over a cup of tea (we have a whole cabinet full!).
