Hi Quincy! My name is Rakim Williams and it's a pleasure to serve as a Non-Resident Tutor. After seven years of living in Quincy, as a Resident Affiliate and Resident Tutor, I'm very excited to work with students in this new capacity. I'm passionate about college access and empowering first-generation low-income students in post-secondary planning. Currently, I serve as the Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions at Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE), and I am also pursuing a Master's in Human Development with a focus on Higher Education from HGSE. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and I am the youngest out of four, but I am the biggest (ha-ha). I am an HBCU alumni, and I received my undergraduate degree in Business Management and Marketing from Virginia Union University in 2015.
