"Hi my wonderful Penguins!! I’m Hope, and I’m so excited to be joining the amazing crew of Non-Resident Tutors! I grew up on the Big Island of Hawai‘i and graduated from Harvard College in 2022, where I studied Government with a focus in Data Science and a secondary in Psychology. I previously served as VP of Harvard Primus and I’m always happy to connect with and support fellow FGLI students navigating Harvard and beyond - so please feel free to reach out!

Since graduating, I received the Booth Fellowship from Harvard and was able to live in Greece to continue my thesis research on voter turnout in democracies. Since returning to the states, I’ve been working in electoral politics, where I focus on data analysis and voter targeting. I’ve mainly worked on national-level campaigns and thoroughly enjoy mission-driven work! I love talking about the intersection of politics and the importance of good data!

For fun, you’ll usually find me doing something outside ranging from tennis to rock climbing but most definitely accidentally injuring myself. I’m really looking forward to meeting you all and being part of the Penguin family again!
