Hannah Davies

Non-Res Tutor
Pre-Med

Hannah is a first-year medical student at Harvard Medical School, committed to health equity and passionate about improving care for children. Growing up in a medically underserved community, she witnessed how limited access to care drives long-term health disparities – an experience that shapes her goal of becoming a physician. Prior to HMS, Hannah earned BS/MS degrees in neuroscience, a BS in psychology, and a minor in chemistry from Brandeis University. Her master’s thesis examined how abnormal visual perception affects balance, but it was her work as lead coordinator of SPECTRUM – a volunteer program offering free mentoring and tutoring to children with disabilities – that led her to autism research. After graduation, she became a Donald J. Cohen Fellow at the Marcus Autism Center, where she led clinical and implementation science research projects and coordinated the NIH-funded First Focus Study, which investigates eye-tracking as a tool for early autism screening. She later completed a Fulbright-Nehru research grant in India, leading two autism studies on parent-mediated interventions and digital diagnostic tools while co-developing a website to support families navigating autism diagnoses. While continuing her autism research abroad, Hannah also works part-time as an MD Admissions Consultant with Scholr Consulting, serves as Chair of Partnerships for the Global Health Initiative Network at HMS, and acts as a Junior Clinician at Cambridge Health Alliance.
