Carlos Noel
Hi all! My name is Carlos and I am so excited to be joining Quincy House as a first-year non-resident tutor! I am originally from Manassas, Virginia, a town about 40 minutes south of Washington, D.C. I graduated last year from the College of William & Mary where I did a self-designed major titled Social Justice in Medicine. Throughout college, I was involved in biological research, student assembly, and mental health advocacy. I was also super passionate about music on campus and sang in acapella, choir, and musical theatre productions.
I started my M.D. at Harvard last fall where I am currently in the Pathways program. I am still exploring what field of medicine I hope to pursue, but I currently have some interest in Dermatology, Pediatrics, & Emergency Medicine. I am fascinated by the social determinants of health and the ways that social identity shapes patient experiences, provider care, and ultimately, outcomes. Outside of class, I have been involved in the Student National Medical Association, Harvard Square Homeless Shelter, Crimson Care Collaborative, Dermatology Scholars, and the HMS/HSDM 2024 Music Video. In my free time, I love to workout at the MAC, thrift around Boston, and explore new restaurants & coffee shops. I'm super excited to meet everyone!
