Angela Zhang

Hi Quincy House! I'm Angela, and this is my first year as a Quincy Non-Resident tutor! I'm so looking forward to getting to know you, but in the meantime, here's a little about me:

I grew up in China and came to the U.S. for higher education, which has shaped my interests in immigrant and global health. In undergrad, I studied biology and economics; the combination of the two inspired a passion for not only the science and care of human health, but also its economics, financing, and management. I am currently a 3rd year student in the Harvard dual MD/MBA program. My research interests include oncology, dermatology, and care delivery, with a focus on cost, access, quality, and equity.

In my free time, I love trying new recipes and restaurants (ask me for my sourdough starter!), working out, spending quality time with loved ones, and playing and listening to music. As the first in my family to attend medical school, I am deeply passionate about mentorship and would love to chat about medicine, research, business, or anything else that would be helpful to you!
