Race & Diversity

The Race & Diversity Tutors are available throughout the year to meet with students who are concerned about race relations. They partner with the Diversity Peer Educators and other Quincy students on the the InQlusivity initiative, which runs events and mentoring programs to foster an inclusive environment in the house. Their duties include helping students to deal with a particular incident, an atmosphere of harassment or tension, or aiding students to promote greater understanding among races or ethnic groups. Within the House, these tutors are sensitive to racial and ethnic issues, and make an effort to know and be accessible to minority students. They can communicate concerns, preventative measures, and positive suggestions to the Faculty Deans and the Resident Dean, so that they can provide support from the House and the College if needed.

Please don't hesitate to contact any of the Race & Diversity Tutors if you have any concerns or just want to talk!
