Hi Quincy! I'm Tim, and I'm excited to be back to Quincy for my third year as an NRT. I grew up in Texas, but I’ve been in Cambridge since starting college in 2016. At Harvard, I concentrated in Chemistry with a secondary in Psychology, and I was a proud Quincy House resident and co-head of the Quincy Brewing Club. I spent two years after college working in vaccine development at Boston Children’s Hospital, and I am now a third-year PhD student in the Harvard Chemical Biology PhD program. My research in Phil Cole’s lab at HMS/Brigham and Women’s Hospital focuses on the enzymology and biochemistry of serine/threonine protein kinase signaling. Outside of the lab, I enjoy skiing, photography, and spending time in nature. I’m happy to talk about all things grad school, scientific research, chemistry, biology, or anything else you’re interested in!
