My name is Odessa, and I’m so excited to be returning to the Quincy House community as a Non-Resident Tutor. I grew up in Tallahassee, FL, and graduated from Harvard College with a double concentration in Neuroscience and Chemistry. During my time at the College, I served on Quincy HoCo for three years—including as Co-Chair—and it was truly one of the highlights of my college experience. After graduation, I joined L’Oréal in Research & Development as a Management Trainee before heading back to Harvard to pursue my MBA at HBS. I’m always happy to chat about majoring in the life sciences or chemistry, and how that background can translate into industry or more business-facing roles. Outside of academics and work, I’m a big fan of the performing arts and reality TV. I was deeply involved in musical theater on campus through the HRDC and Hasty Pudding. I also played in the Harvard-Radcliffe Orchestra, and music has been a constant thread in my life. I even conducted my neuroscience senior thesis research at a music cognition lab, studying the brain’s reward response to vocal versus nonvocal music. On the lighter side, I’m a huge reality TV enthusiast (Quincy's ""Bachelorette Watch Parties"" were some of my favorite events to organize!).
